SELVA needs an entire sub page because it is and it was a wondeful cooperation and creation of 4 individuals, in 2 couples setup. The origin was from a trip by Andris when he traveled to Ghana. Than his bright and shining wife Noemi made the first sweater in her lovely favour. That's a personal item, but she made the one that started Selva. Here it is:
The rest is history (of its own, and in small hand made slow fashion world). Noémi and András followed the designs and production, Nadi my wife made spectacular photographs of each new season, and I made the illustrations and logo as well (of Noemi's idea of the two pelikans).
